Mission Statement

It is our mission to organize and operate in the Maricopa County Legislative District 7 Democratic group as a community of people that is open, inclusive, accessible and principle-based. We will always follow a lawful, democratic process to excite and engage all citizens in our community, our men, women, minorities, workers, youth, and retirees to recruit, elect and support good leaders who will govern and guide us today and tomorrow.

Vision Statement

We envision an LD 7 Democratic Group that seeks and embraces broad community and workforce input to formulate its platform, that establishes a strong and inspirational voice to communicate our message of expectation and empowerment, and a Democratic Party that strives to align our values and beliefs with our actions. Our vision of success will be to recruit and elect Democratic candidates to office, form the political conscience of those who participate in government to serve the Democratic Party ideals and process.

Who are we?

Welcome to a group of Democrats who believe in principles of the Democratic Party. We live in an area that is more than 143 sq miles. There are several cities: Phoenix, Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Care Free who make up Legislative District 7.

We are part of Phoenix City Council Districts 2 and 3.

We include Congressional District 3 and 5, and Maricopa County Districts 2 and 3.

Our active members include people of many ages, religions and economic status. We accept people with views who may not always agree with ours and those who fully agree.
